In the ( n p r) article "multitasking in the car :just like drunken driving (2008),the author Jon Hamilton demonstrates the idea of safe driving by explaining that the driving requires a huge amount of brain power and visual information as the scientists have found the talking on the phone not to mention the hands-free device distracts the drivers. after that he explained some focusing driving required examples such as finding yourself in somewhere without remembering much about the trip and this what so called automaticity phenomenon as well as the author brought a professional pianist as a sample for ( pushing the brain study) and the studies shown that the brain struggles with paying attention to sights and sound at same time when the brain starts working on a visual task and its auditory parts show decreased activity. however.at the end the author has been indicated to the study in 2006 by the national highway traffic safety administration that found the most common distruction for drivers was use of cell phone .
